Why stretching is good for you?

Stretching is important for flexibility, range of motion and injury prevention.

You know, when you experience pain in your knee joints and the doctor is telling you :" don't do squats!", well that doctor is not giving a solution but gives you painkillers and delaying to resolve the problem. Instead of that, he could easily tell you to buy a foam roller and roll your legs and of course stretch yourself in a proper way or maybe just join some flow yoga class or just hot yoga, is still good for you.

Why we need stretching:
1. Reduce risk of injuries. If your muscles are too tight, you first feel uncomfortable and second can lead to injuries.
2. Increasing flexibility reduce resistance on your muscles during different activities.
3. Helps release post workout pain.
4. Is part of your workout.

When you stretching, the muscle fiber is pulled out to its full length and then the connective tissue takes up the remaining slack, means realigning any disorganized fibers.

Mistika likes stretching:)
